Please read these terms carefully before using Babella
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Babella mobile and web application ("Babella", "the app", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use Babella. Babella is intended for parents and caregivers tracking a child's development.
Babella is an information and tracking tool. It is NOT a medical device, and the content (charts, percentiles, AI suggestions, articles, vaccine schedules, sleep/feeding norms, Tiny Moments micro-articles, recipes, growth data) is for educational and informational purposes only, based on published guidelines from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the World Health Organization (WHO), the UK National Health Service (NHS), and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Always consult a qualified pediatrician or healthcare professional for medical decisions about your child. Do not delay or disregard medical care because of something you read in the app. In a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.
You are responsible for safeguarding your sign-in credentials. If you sign in via Google or Apple, that provider's account security applies. Notify us at info@babella.org if you suspect unauthorised access.
Babella AI (Ask, Focus today, Weekly, Overall) returns generative outputs based on data you enter. Outputs may be incorrect, incomplete, or inappropriate for your situation. Treat them as a brainstorming aid, not as professional advice. AI calls are processed by Anthropic Claude via our Cloud Function — see the Privacy Policy for details on what is sent and how.
You agree not to: (a) reverse-engineer, decompile, or disrupt the service; (b) submit content that is illegal, infringing, or abusive; (c) attempt to access another user's data; (d) use automated tools to scrape the app or its APIs.
Babella, including its design, illustrations, photographs, icons, recipes, Tiny Moments article corpus, code, and brand name, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The Tiny Moments content library, recipe corpus, and accompanying imagery are proprietary to Babella. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from this content without our prior written consent. Personal use within the app (saving favorites, sharing a single recipe with a friend) is permitted.
Some Babella features may be offered on a paid basis. If purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play, the billing terms of those stores apply, including subscription renewal and refund policies. Cancel renewals through your store account at any time.
You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. On termination your authentication record is removed; data deletion requests can be sent to info@babella.org. All associated baby tracking data, photos, and audio recordings are removed from our servers within 30 days of the deletion request.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Babella will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of your use of the app. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the past 12 months (or $0 if the app was used for free).
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye where Babella is operated, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Istanbul, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence requires otherwise.
We may update these Terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be highlighted in-app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
